Fret not, we have come up with a simple infographic below to show you a couple of important things to take note of before sending a parcel to East Malaysia. With this infographic, you can now worry less about the hassles involving your parcels which can save your time and effort.

  • Avoid sending dangerous good or liquid item.  Make sure your parcel doesn’t contain any dangerous good or liquid items as all shipments will be undergoing strict inspection by Airport Authorities.

Offensive weapons such as airgun or samurai sword will be handled over to Police station for further action instead.

  •  Declare your shipment correctly. Ensure all shipments have been declared with correct details to avoid held-ups in customs.
 
  • Attach your parcel’s invoice. Always attach your invoice on parcel together with air waybill. If you doesn’t have any invoice on hand, you may use and fill in the profoma invoice that usually printed along with air waybill.
 
  • Reused/recycled box with UN label packaging or DGR marking. Avoid re-using any box containing UN label or DGR (Dangerous Good Regulation) marking. This will cause the shipment get held up in customs.
