Every year, we hold a big dinner party where all the people behind EasyParcel Group gather in a ballroom with good foods for an evening filled up with laughter and joy. This is aimed to appreciate the great efforts of everyone throughout the year, while this year we’ve been forced to call it off due to Covid-19 pandemic to make sure all the lovely people stay safe at home.
However, distance doesn’t split us apart when you know how to put creative minds and technology to good use together. Though gathering all in a room for celebration is impossible, why not turn this grand event into a virtual one? This is definitely more convenient for us to accommodate the entire family of EasyParcel across 4 countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
The Party Goes Online
That’s how our first-ever virtual annual lunch kicks in with the theme “G-A-M-E”. This grand-scale virtual annual lunch of ours attracted a total of 102 EasyParcel family members to celebrate the hard work and success in the past 365 days. Costume competition, lucky draws and exciting activities we used to have are also on the schedule.
GAME ON Talent Contest
There were a total of 85 lucky draw prizes with the grand prize being a SNOWFIT Oasis Full Body Multifunctional Smart Massage Chair. On top of these, each competition came with prizes to be won.

Aside from this, we also take this chance to appreciate the loyal employees who are dedicated to the growth of the team for more than 5 years with the service award ceremony. We’re more than grateful to see there was a total of 9 employees who have been named to share their “never been easy” journey in creating who we are today. What do their “5 years” look like: what are their highs and lows; how do they celebrate wins and overcome struggles?
On top of that, we always believe that “great things in business are done by a team of people”. But coming together as a team is just a beginning, it’s all about how we stay together as a team, this includes show your pride in them when they perform well, and be there when they make mistakes. And thus, we also take this opportunity to express our appreciation to all these team heroes to give their 101% movitation throughout the journey!
Satisfy Our Taste Buds With Favorite Meals
To be honest, there wasn’t much difference to have our annual celebration virtually. The only thing that differs from previous years is everyone can be satisfied with their cravings for the annual celebration in more than one type of food!
Yay, each of us was rewarded with some e-wallet credit to order our favorite meals to deliver to our doorstep, instead of sitting around the table and waiting to serve. Without a doubt, all of us in EasyParcel are a food-loving bunch and we know where to hunt good foods, even when we all celebrate from our own home.
Pandemic Bring US Closer & Made Us Stronger
We at EasyParcel always work hard as a captain and play hard like a pirate. It’s truly a Saturday afternoon to remember, where we played, bond and reconnect with each other from different departments even countries, though it was through a screen.
It’s been a while since we first started the practice of work from home in March 2020, when the Covid-19 outbreak, and far before the movement control orders were imposed. This is aimed to ensure all our EasyParcel members stay safe during this pandemic, as well as their family members.
At EasyParcel, we serve millions of people daily as their everyday delivery solution. From busy entrepreneurs to new eCommerce players, many people are enjoying the affordable and convenience of our platform to book courier services. And this new normal has led us to explore new possibilities in many areas, which make us think out of the box and roll out new services to help many of them to digitize their business and grow to a greater height. We are all increasingly empowered by the Internet and it is changing lives.
