Every now and then, we’ve received a lots of inquiries about our international courier services operation status since the COVID-19 outbreak. Fret not as EasyParcel is still here to serve the nation along with our domestic and international courier partners wherever and whenever you need a delivery.
In short, our international delivery will be on-going as usual but there might be some delays in shipping to certain countries which are being affected by COVID-19. And here’s something that you’ll need to take note when delivering parcels to overseas:-
- Note that shipping delays may occur for shipments containing medical supplies, such as face masks. This is due to additional days are needed for Singapore Customs to carry out stricter checking for international shipments during customs clearance process.
- Do not include any other items when you sending a shipment with face masks to prevent further delay during the custom clearance process.
- Maximum allowable parcel value for face masks is up to S$1000 only.
- The MSDS document (Material Safety Data Sheets) is always required for international deliveries when you’re sending hand sanitisers, cosmetics, beauty products, liquid products or electronic items to overseas. Just attach the MSDS document along with invoice and air waybills on your parcel.
Last but not least, kindly take note that all exports will still be subjected to inspection and approval of Singapore Customs and customs department of destination country. We at EasyParcel will continue working round the clock to serve you with easy and affordable delivery solutions as we promised along with our courier partners despite this pandemic period.
