Before you begin with all the steps, a rule of thumb when shipping a parcel – be sure that your shipment will not cause any weight dispute, or send prohibited items that you are not allowed to. It is important to pack your parcel to secure it from damage, and book a courier with the actual weight when you send a shipment.
#1 – Prohibited Item Checklist
It is often best practice to check what are the items you are sending, and make sure it is not prohibited or restricted item before sending parcels domestically or internationally. #2 – Package Your Parcel Safely
First and foremost, ensure that your package is secured with quality packing materials before having it delivered. To keep your shipment secure use packing material such as fragile tape to indicate the item contains glass items, bubble wrap to give additional cushioning to protect the parcel content from damage, and quality corrugated boxes to fill all items in one box to keep your product secure. It’s recommended to use a combination of different packaging materials to secure your parcel.

#3 – Determine The Weight Of Your Parcel
Once you are done securing your parcel, you can measure your parcel weight with two options. The rule of measuring the package will allow you to have a smoother process when the courier service picks up your parcel. The measurement for estimated weight or accurate weight will allow you to quote or book a shipment.
The first method, you can use a measuring tape to measure the dimension of your box length, width, and height to generate an estimated weight using EasyParcel volumetric calculator.
