What’s the best way to bond with your team and have fun? A teambuilding trip to Cameron Highlands, of course! In 2025, Exabytes and EasyParcel took teamwork to the next level with a fun-filled 2-day, 1-night trip in the cool hills of Cameron Highland. From beautiful views to exciting challenges, it was a trip to remember!

What Is the Purpose of Team Building?
The main purpose of team building is to bring people together and make the team stronger. More simply, it helps:
- 🤝 Build trust – so teammates feel comfortable relying on each other.
- 💬 Improve communication – better teamwork, fewer misunderstandings.
- 💡 Develop problem- solving skills – through fun challenges.
- 👑 Enhance leadership – giving chances to lead and guide the team.
- 🔍 Improve weaknesses – learn from mistakes and grow stronger.
🚗 Starting the Trip: Fun Team Challenges
1. Journey to Cameron Highlands 🚗
We started early in the morning and headed to Cameron Highlands. On the bus, we played a fun QnA game where the winner received cash from the bus leader. Everyone enjoyed laughing, chatting, and eating delicious sandwiches. 🥪
2. Ice Breaker & Energizer 🌟
After checking into our rooms, we kicked off with an Ice Breaker & Energizer session. It helped us relax, meet new people, and get excited for the activities ahead.
3. Engineering Challenge 🛠️
Next, we worked together on the Engineering Challenge. It was all about teamwork, trust, and problem-solving.
4. I-Maze Challenge 🔍
Then came the I-Maze Challenge. We couldn’t talk, so we guided each other using signals and finger gestures to find the correct path step by step.
5. Team Dinner 🍽️
In the afternoon, we recharged with a tasty dinner together before the next fun game.
6. Archery Combat 🏹
We split into six groups and played Archery Combat. Each round lasted 3–5 minutes, and the goal was to shoot safe arrows at the other team in a friendly match.
7. Drum Circle 🥁
To end the day, we gathered for a Drum Circle. Everyone played to the rhythm, creating music together as a team. It was a fun and meaningful way to close the first day.
Day 2: Fun, Learning, and Memories🎉
1. Breakfast to Start the Day 🍳
We began with a yummy breakfast to fuel up before all the activities.
2. Hollywood Dance 💃🕺
The day kicked off with a Hollywood dance session. Everyone laughed, moved, and enjoyed the fun, light-hearted start.
3. Running Man Challenge 🏃♂️🎯
Next, we played Running Man with 8 different stations. Each station had a challenge, such as catching an egg, throwing a sandbag while blindfolded, or aiming a paper plane into a circle. We collected stamps for each task and searched for an envelope to complete the game.
4. Durian Fest 🍈👑
After all the running around, it was time to relax and enjoy Malaysia’s King of Fruits together — the durian!
5. Corner to Corner Challenge 🪵🤝
For the final game, each group received 4–5 boards. We had to work as a team to jump from one corner to the other, carefully planning each move so that everyone could cross safely.

During the Exabytes x EasyParcel Teambuilding 2025 trip, I got to talk to some of the participants and hear their thoughts. Here’s what they shared:
1. Eng Khong
Q1: Can you describe the game/first introduction of the teambuilding games and how to play?
“My favorite was the Blind Driver Challenge. One person was the blind driver, and the other was to guide the driver’s and avoid crashing into others.”
Q2: Do you have any fear when you first started the game/or when it was being introduced?
“When I was the blind driver, I felt intimidated because I couldn’t see what was happening around me and, I felt I didn’t trust my partner enough.”
Q3: How did you overcome your fear?
“We took a moment to sync up and set clear goals to cross the trust issue barrier.”
Q4: What is your reflection after playing the game and how would you apply it to your work/life?
Communication is very important in a partnership. It helps to build trust and give direction to our final goal.
2. Belinda
Q1: Can you describe the game/first introduction of the teambuilding games and how to play?
In the Drum Circle, everyone got a different instrument, and we had to create rhythms together. It was all about syncing up and working as a team.
Q2: Do you have any fear when you first started the game/or when it was being introduced?
Yeah, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to follow the rhythm and mess things up.
Q3: How did you overcome your fear?
I decided to listen to others first, then joined in slowly. If I messed up, I just paused, listened again, and got back into the rhythm.
Q4: What is your reflection after playing the game and how would you apply it to your work/life?
I learned that if things go off track, there’s no need to panic. Just take a moment, observe, and then get back in sync.
3. Azam
Q1: Can you describe the game/first introduction of the teambuilding games and how to play?
It’s a fun game that needs good memory and strategy. We move from one side to the other by stepping on the correct path, and the team must follow the same path.
Q2: Do you have any fear when you first started the game/or when it was being introduced?
Yes. We couldn’t talk or touch the path, only use sounds. I was worried my teammates might not remember the same path.
Q3: How did you overcome your fear?
I trusted my team. We used the prep time to plan, assign roles, and build understanding.
Q4: What is your reflection after playing the game and how would you apply it to your work/life?
It taught me trust, teamwork, and creative communication. Just like at work, planning and trust make collaboration smoother, even with limited communication.
