EasyParcel in collaboration with Exabytes Group, Southeast Asia’s premier provider of business, cloud, digital, and e-commerce solutions, is thrilled to announce the continuation of the “Let’s Plant A Tree” campaign for the second year. This year, our partnership, together with Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP) and Jabatan Perhutanan Pulau Pinang, is dedicated to making a positive environmental impact by planting 3,330 trees in the serene Balik Pulau region.
The “Let’s Plant A Tree” campaign was initiated in April 2022 with the aim of preserving biodiversity and addressing issues like forest degradation, and this year EasyParcel has contributed 1,000 trees to support this cause.
The campaign launch event near Pantai Malindo in Balik Pulau saw active participation from 32 Exabytes employees, 12 EasyParcel representatives, and volunteers.
Exabytes Group CEO Chan Kee Siak underlined the company’s steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability and urged everyone to use the hashtag #LetsPlantATree to join the movement in rebuilding the ecosystem’s balance.
“With the alarmingly increasing rate of deforestation activities being reported everywhere including in Malaysia, it is crucial now more than ever to take part in any efforts that could lead to the restoration of the environment to its former glory. Therefore, EasyParcel appreciates the opportunity that Exabytes have presented for us to express our commitment to also do our part to help with the environment,” said Clarence Leong, Chief Executive Officer of EasyParcel.
