What Is DDP on EasyParcel Next Gen?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is an international shipping term where the seller pays all duties and taxes upfront—so the buyer pays nothing extra when their parcel arrives.
On EasyParcel Next Gen, DDP is a simple toggle you can enable during booking. Once selected, EasyParcel automatically:
- Calculates estimated duties and taxes
- Adds them to your total cost
- Includes them in your shipping label and customs documentation
- Ensures your customer receives their parcel with no surprise fees

Step-by-Step: How to Enable DDP on EasyParcel Next Gen
1. Log in EasyParcel account.
2. Under “Send Parcel”, Click on “International Delivery”.
3. Enter details (sender country with postcode, destination country with postcode and parcel weight) and click on “Quote”.
Choose your preferred courier and click “Book Now.”
4. Fill in all details included Sender Details, Receiver Details, Parcel Details and Add-On Services, and click on “Checkout”.

Enter the actual weight, dimension and content of your parcel. For Parcel Content, enter the item name (the more specific the better), then the HS code will auto-generated. Next, fill in the price per item of your parcel.

Add-On Services:
Select DDP.
Tick the box to add EasyCover for additional protection against loss.
Choose your preferred notification channel – SMS, Email, or WhatsApp. Click “Preview” to see how it looks, and click “Customise” to add brand message to the notification.

5. Click on “Pay Now” to make payment.
6. To download and print your Air Waybill, go to “Manage Shipments” and click on your order and select “Print AWB”.
